Please join us in congratulating all of our students who participated in the Selective School Preparation program in 2014-2015. We have just received the results and are absolutely ecstatic at how well our students have done. The results are amazing.
12 confirmed offers, 4 on reserve lists, 1 pending and 1 unsuccessful. Of the 4 on the reserve list, 1 of these students has been successful in gaining an offer for a Gifted and Talented Program. One of the successful students has also been offered an Academic Scholarship at Danebank High School.
The highest score attained by one of our students was 237 which goes to show that students who work hard and set their goals can achieve phenomenal results.
Our program at Global Education Academy encourages all students who would like to experience the challenges of academic extension to participate in the Selective School Preparation Program. Not all students ultimately set their sights at a selective high school, there are students who enter the program for many other reasons.
Our cohort have all worked amazingly hard and have had a huge commitment to embracing the teaching methodologies offered in our programs here. Our course materials are all designed and created by staff at GEA and we pride ourselves in the quality of these materials and know that they are of the highest possible standard. Our students have access to levels of literacy and numeracy units of work that are not available elsewhere.
