Important – Please Read Carefully
Your child is doing well, but there is still some room for improvement. Take the first step to unlock their full potential.
Parents are very effective at identifying their child’s ability. Indeed, they are significantly more accurate than teachers.
Early recognition and formal identification of gifted children is important in helping them learn effectively during their primary years and preventing disengagement that may result in negative attitudes towards learning.
Realising untapped potential happens when students are challenged in the classroom, while also given the support they need to do that. This means extending them to do a higher level of Maths and English in a well-supported environment.
Teachers should be open to the fact that students can handle more and are hungry for more. Unfortunately, many of these students become disengaged and, as a result, they end up with gaps in their learning. Once they are re-engaged, they can close these gaps.
