Dr. Majeda Awawdeh is the founder of Global Education Academy, Australia’s only research-based learning center. With a passion for transforming education through science-backed methods, Dr. Majeda has dedicated her career to improving how students learn, retain, and excel, especially in mathematics and high-stakes assessments.
She has completed a PhD in Mathematics Education at the University of New South Wales, where she was focused on Cognitive Load Theory. She began her academic journey at the University of Haifa.
Dr. Majeda has great experience and a wealth of knowledge in the areas of large-scale testing in schools such as ICAS, NAPLAN, Selective School Tests, Scholarships, and GAT tests. In her past role, she was the coordinator for ICAS Mathematics for a number of years, and has an outstanding understanding of test construction, reading the data and how students perform best in such exams.
