Core Maths Program (Year 2 & 3)

This is a highly engaging mathematics enrichment course designed specifically for Year 2 and Year 3 students.

Morning Session

This program focuses on helping students move beyond simply “doing sums” and instead develop the ability to:

• think critically,
• analyse information carefully,
• identify patterns,
• apply mathematical reasoning,
• and solve unfamiliar problems with confidence.

Students are taught how to approach maths like detectives, breaking questions into smaller parts, testing strategies, explaining reasoning, and learning how to think independently.

7. Basic Algebra
8. Measurements
9. Basic Probability

Guided learnings:

• explicit teaching, guided problem solving, visual learning, collaborative activities, games, puzzles, logic tasks, and real-world maths applications.

Afternoon Session

At Global Education Academy, we believe children learn best when learning is balanced with creativity and enjoyment. Our afternoon sessions from 1 PM to 5 PM include

• interactive activities,
• arts & crafts,
• quizzes,
• movie sessions,
• and team work & games

The afternoon session is designed to keep children happy, confident, and socially engaged.
